Cards and Stickers ★

well it's been an eventful few days! if you follow me on facebook/twitter then you will already know that i've been stuck in Lancaster, UK for the past 2 days due to ferry cancellations!!! :(

basically, i was supposed to catch the boat home on Tuesday afternoon but due to motorway closures, i missed it by 10 minutes...

and unfortunately, all of the boats were cancelled the next day due to bad weather conditions!

but i'm FINALLY home now, and that's what matters :)

this morning i popped to the IOM post depot in Ramsey to collect lots of lovely parcels

containing... funky new Greetings Cards AND Sugar Skull stickers!!!!!

yaaaay get excited!

the cards are lovely quality, i'm really pleased with the silky finish + i think they look rather cute packaged up with envelopes in their little cello bags 

there are currently 5 designs to choose from...

and a new scrabble design for Birthdays

+ they ALL have my logo on the back as well

and as for the stickers...

well i just want to stick them everywhere! but they're not really for me, they're for all of you...

anyway, ALL cards and stickers are now available to buy via my esty shop

and for a limited time only, ALL greetings cards ordered will come with a free Sugar Skull circle sticker as well!!!

i'm still attempting to procure some cards for Xmas, i'm trying to find somewhere to get them printed, so i'll keep you all posted on those!

in other news, another lovely envelope also arrived for me today containing a very pretty print featuring the work of the lovely Madi Barrett aka Madiillustrates

you may remember that i ran a Creative Café feature on her gorgeous work a few months ago, and if you don't remember, well then you can check it out here - Creative Café #7

anyway, i've had my eye on the print for a while so i decided to treat myself! 

and since i was Madi's 20th customer she also sent me this beautiful little pocket mirror!

love, love, love it!

now i just need to find a space on my 'wall of stuff' to put up the lovely print!

i have to go into college tomorrow, on a Saturday!!! shock horror, but i really need to get stuff printed ahead of my assessment, which had to be rescheduled because i missed it... thanks to the boat being cancelled!

Creative Café #9 ★

hi folks... yes i know, i've been a VERRRY bad blogger this week! but the truth is i have been terribly lazy! i haven't left the house since Tuesday and i've been busy working on commission designs + some little alterations for my website!

anyway i thought we could end the week on a colourful note with another super duper Creative Café feature!!!

today's feature goes out the the very awesome and very talented Naomi C Robinson aka Nyha Graphics aka Ni

Ni is a marvellously multitalented illustrator and graphic designer from London, UK

i only discovered Ni's work recently while trawling through various facebook fan pages in search of inspiration and what not, i found a photo of some adorable little magnet designs and knew i'd have to do more research and find out who'd designed them

turns out... i LOVED her work straight away! and trust me you'll soon see why! 

what can i say! her style is just so adorably cute and fun, with sweet little characters and beautiful details

she has so much talent! so many different styles and mediums, u just love it! gorgeous work for sure!!!

anyway, i'll shut up and let you look through it all by yourself (without me rambling on and on and...)

but as if all that gorgeous work wasn't enough! she also designs the most fabulous greetings cards, notebooks, magnets, bookmarks and pocket mirrors! check them out...

stunning stuff right!!! oh i knoooow i love it all! i've got my eye on the cupcake magnets for sure!!!

anyway, big, big, BIG thanks to the lovely Ni for letting me feature her stuff here! she is a super duper star :)

so there you go! 

would you believe i actually tried to sew something today in a last ditch attempt at NOT being lazy, but my sewing machine just wasn't co-operating so i gave up and came and wrote this instead!

oh oh AND i meant to say earlier, the reason i found Ni's work in the first place was because i've been toying with the idea of getting a bunch of magnets/badges/mirrors printed up with some of my designs but i keep changing my mind and abandoning the idea... repeatedly

what do you dudes and dudettes think?!

If i were to get some little badges or pocket mirrors made featuring my work would you maybe be tempted to buy one?! 

if they didn't cost too much? and if i picked cute designs??? yay or nay...

let me know PLEASE!!!
