Creative Café #18 ★

so it's been a quiet week blog wise for me hasn't it! i've been busy busy busy with commissions and college work and the truth is i just don't have the time to post as much any more! which sucks...

anyway, today i have a super duper new Creative Café feature to do so you know what that means!

come on, you know the drill... you know what to do!

go sort out snacks/beverages etc, go on... hurry up!

right, got something yummy to munch/sip on???

smashing, let's get on with the post then!

today's feature is all about a very talented Turkish illustrator and artist based in Istanbul, her work is so pretty and lovely that i just had to share it with you all!

today it's all about the fabulous Sernur (aka Sernuretta)

Sernur creates the most amazing illustrations full of delicate characters, wonderful patterns and colours. her work has an almost dreamlike quality to it that i just love.

her work is often girly and bright, bursting with cute little details and fun characters, the sort of work that always brings a smile to your face when you see it

i first discovered her work through Twitter and love visiting her blog to see what sort of arty stuff she's working on, although i can't understand Turkish i still enjoy scrolling through her posts looking at all of the pictures since everything is always so feminine and fun!

her work is bold but beautiful and i really admire her style of drawing and editing, each piece tells a story as well regardless of whether she's created it for a magazine, book cover, picture book, website or anything else!

right enough rambling on, i'll let you look through some of Sernur's pretty artwork by yourself, enjoy...

gosh isn't it all just divine! so delicate and dreamy, absolutely gorgeous!
